Thanks for checking us out!

Six Days Farm is a family run farm located in Monroe, Virginia. We were officially established in 2020, and raise beef cattle, hogs and have a raw dairy herdshare.

We operate with a regenerative and sustainable mindset, our main goal is to use our livestock to improve the health of the land. Through rotational grazing, and managed animal impact we aim to return carbon and other key nutrients into the soil. This focus on healthy land produces nutrient dense plant life, which in turn produces nutrient dense food! While we are not certified organic, we use organic practices and never spray herbicides or pesticides on our pastures.

We keep a herd of South Poll beef cattle. These cows are with us from conception to consumption, so no questionable practices from an unknown middle-man. They are all grass-fed, and grass-finished, though we can source grain-finished animals upon request from a producer we trust. These cattle are all sold directly to the consumer in the form of beef herd shares, or individual packages of ground beef.

Our hogs are pasture raised, and are the brush clearing crew of the farm! We use them to help control brush in areas too steep or wooded for the cattle, and provide aggressive animal impact on the soil when needed. They do amazing work at revitalizing tired soil and giving it a much needed nutrition boost! Our pork is sold either as a half/whole hog or in individual cuts.
